Philadelphia International Airport is located twenty-four miles southeast of the Crowne Plaza Valley Forge Hotel and provides both international and domestic services for one of the largest metropolitan areas in the United States.
Philadelphia International Airport currently has five terminals (A-E). Each terminal is served by several airlines which fly to a wide range of international and domestic destinations. Each terminal has a selection of restaurants, bars, shops, banks and ATM machines. Specific airlines also have club lounges in the appropriate terminal. Philadelphia International Airport has a comprehensive ground transportation service. The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) runs rail and bus services to the city, rail and bus stations. Shuttle buses, taxis and limousines are also available from baggage claim areas. Taxis are available 24 hours a day, from Zone 5. Shuttle buses and limousines are available from Zone 7. The SEPTA R1 high speed rail service provides a convenient and economical service from the airport's five terminals to the downtown area. Transit from the airport to downtown Philadelphia takes about 20 minutes and trains depart every 30 minutes. Trains run from 6am to midnight.
To Downtown Philadelphia - take the R1 service to Penn Center Suburban station. To AMTRAK rail terminal - take the R1 service to Amtrak 30th Street Station.
